Wise: "The best economic stimulus... is a diploma"

It was good to see former West Virginia Gov. Bob Wise on CNN's "Your Bottom Line" this week alongside State Farm CEO Ed Rust and Dominique Demetice Ferrar — a formerly at-risk high school student from St. Paul, Minnesota who is now a spokesman for State Farm's 26 Seconds anti-dropout campaign.

Wise, who was interviewed by NoDropouts.org last year, discussed the economic impact that dropouts have on the nation's economy and outlined several necessary steps to help curb the dropout crisis.

"The best economic stimulus both for students and their country is a diploma," Wise said.

We highly recommend watching the segment.
