TEACH FOR AMERICA OFFICIAL: WE NEED FAITH-BASED SUPPORT FOR EDUCATIONAL EQUALITY

Should faith groups play a role in fighting the dropout epidemic? Nicole Baker Fulgham believes so. In fact, she thinks its a moral imperative for those who believe God has called them to work on behalf of those in need. "A child's zip code shouldn't determine whether he or she is prepared for college," the vice president of faith community relations for Teach For America said in an interview with Christianity Today. "I want to see faith communities prioritize educational equality as one of their top social causes."
