No public school district is immune to the dropout epidemic afflicting our country. Most students who leave high school without a diploma either can't or won't return to a traditional school. The American Academy's innovative Dropout Recovery Program offers school districts a way to provide a complete high school education to students beyond the reach of traditional programs.

That’s our part — and we believe strongly in what we do — but we also know that there is no single answer to this problem. That's why TAA sponsors NoDropouts.org, where we facilitate an ongoing conversation about all the ways in which students, parents, teachers, administrators and community allies are fighting — and winning — this battle.

We do this because we believe that no student is a lost cause — and that each of us has a role to play in keeping students in school.
